Having been in the River Hamble for 5 years, warmer weather and blue skies was eventually too inviting. Beatrice C was based in Marina Alcaidesa, La Linea, 10 minutes walk from Gibraltar Airport. However Karoline and her crew brought her back the the River Medina, Cowes in June 2017.
This "gateway" to the mediteranean is a short hop away from North Africa and the welcome coast of Morocco. Sailing the Straits of Gibraltar can be an "exhilerating sail" but the blue med water is warm and inviting.

How to Get To Us
Gibraltar Airport is 10 minutes walk from Marina Alacaidesa and Beatrice C.
As a foot passenger through the Spanish/Gib border there are no problems with Security checks as there are with vehicles.
We will meet you at the airport and we have our own trolley for heavier bags and in a short walk you will be at Beatrice C. Our friendly Marina Staff are only here to help us with lines or serving a small white wine at the Alcaidesa Marina Bar Lounge.
Flights to Gibraltar are run by Easy Jet (from Garwick), BA (from Heathrow) and Monarch (from Luton, Birmingham and Manchester). We use Monarch from Luton with flights at reasonable prices with more than 2 months notice (excluding school holidays)
